End of the year

I have been very busy during December so not too much written here ! Hopefully this will change in 2008

Work continues restoring my Dennis Dart L401 VCV. The major delay has been with the supply of the panels. The end of the year still sees the last two not arriving.

The fuel pump that had been reconditioned was fitted to the Leopard YNW 33X. The engine now runs purrfectly ! To celebrate we took her over to Guscotts at Halwill Junction where she passed a class V MOT.

It was promised to me a couple of years ago. Now that this Olympian has finally retired First Somerset & Avon remembered my request. So here she is being collected from Bridgwater.

A few days later my recently acquired LH6L KTT 38P went over and she too gained her class V MOT.

My Bristol SUL 1202 336 EDV was out and about with an evening trip to visit the South DEvon Railway for their "Carols Down the Line"

Getting there

About me

Retired and still active in a couple of hobbies that have kept me going for 55 years ! Photography, particularly buses and coaches kept me occupied as the main interest. It lasted until 2004 when my wife died and I decided to spend the family "silver". That led me into actually preserving buses !
